Supporting the talent that will transform the future of healthcare
Education Foundation Inc. is a non-profit organization created by Ponce Health Sciences University to ensure that the education of health sciences professionals is never interrupted for financial reasons.
Our work connects donors, alumni, philanthropists, and partners with the next generation of physicians, psychologists, public health professionals, researchers, and other professionals who will impact global communities.
The Foundation upholds PHSU’s long-standing commitment to accessible education, academic excellence, and service as drivers of social transformation. We believe in the power of investing in talent: when a student thrives, so do their family, their community, and the healthcare system as a whole.
PHSU has trained healthcare professionals for the past 48 years, many of them from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Education Foundation was created to strengthen that legacy, expand financial aid opportunities, and ensure that no aspiring student is left behind.
Education Foundation is comprised of leaders with experience in education, health, philanthropy, science, and administration. Their commitment is to ensure that every donation is used strategically, transparently, and directed toward maximizing educational impact.
PHSU maintains collaborations with academic institutions, research centers, hospitals, and non-profit organizations in Puerto Rico, the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean. These partnerships expand opportunities for students and strengthen the Foundation’s global reach.
Promote educational opportunities that strengthen the health workforce, supporting students committed to human well-being and scientific advancement.
A world where access to health education does not depend on economic resources, but on commitment to service, science, and global health.
All donations are managed with strict standards of accountability and transparency. Donors receive impact reports showing how their contribution is transformed into real educational opportunities.
Graduates and allied professionals can offer mentorship, clinical experiences, talks, or
career development support to beneficiary students.
